Johnson, Edward - Signed Photograph in King Henchman Autographs singers I-L Italian soprano (1797-1865)Canadian tenor (1878 1959), also known as Edoardo Di Giovanni, a specialist in the light lyric French repertoire, who later became the director of the Metropolitan Opera of New York from 1935 to 1950. Signed and inscribed photograph, shown as Aethelwold in Kings Henchman, opera by Deems Taylor (a role he created for the world premiere in 1927). Size is 7. 5 x 9. 75 inches, in very good condition.
